Patients
Prioritize the patient
One Health Direct specializes in helping patients with chronic health conditions get innovative, life-changing products and supplies sent directly to their homes. We understand that navigating the complexities of healthcare is often difficult, confusing, and stressful. The various steps required of the patient to request and receive a particular treatment option can be overwhelming.
Our system was specifically developed with the intent of simplifying the process for the patient. Friendly and knowledgeable patient advocates are available to guide patients through the entire on-boading process. From initial eligiability check through product fullfillment, all facets of the process follow distinct protocols and workflows which consolidate the requirements into a simple process. One quick phone call is often all it takes for a patient to enable One Health Direct to help them attain a more innovative treatment option for their chronic
condition.
OHD makes the process easy
Between our team of patient advocates, insurance specialists, and partner DMEs’ billing experts, everything is handled on behalf of the patient to consolidate the requirements and execute the process. The OHD system breaks the process down into four stages, making things simple and quick:

Stage 1: Patient speaks to an OHD Patient Advocate
The patient starts the process by speaking with one of OHD’s Patient Advocates, who will identify their needs and collect the necessary information to verify eligibility and process their order.
Stage 2: OHD works with the patient’s physician
The OHD team will then work with the patient’s doctor to gather all necessary documentation to process their order – including a signed prescription and all necessary medical records.
Stage 3: Their is no paperwork for the patient
The Billing Team of the OHD partner DME assigned to assist the patient will work directly with their insurance company to ensure that their order is covered by their provider and ensure all paperwork is completed on their behalf.
Stage 4: Supplies sent to the patient’s home
Once the patient’s doctor has approved their order, the OHD Fullflment Team will package their supplies in a discrete box and ship it directly to their home.

Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) are small, discreet, wearable devices that measure, track, and relay glucose levels in the body to provide the wearer with real-time reading at any time with a quick scan. This enables users to better monitor their glucose levels by providing transparency and tracings on how quickly they increase or decrease.
Orthopedic Braces
Orthopedic braces are medical devices designed to address musculoskeletal issues; they are used to align correctly, correct the position, support, stabilize, protect and help provide pain relief for certain parts of the body (particularly the muscles, joints, and bones) for both acute injuries and chronic conditions. These medical devices are often prescribed for the patient to assist with pain relief and provide warmth, compression, stability, and support.
Phototherapy uses very specific bands of light for the treatment of Psoriasis, Vitiligo and Eczema. Once only available at healthcare centers and doctor offices, home Phototherapy units are now available and covered by many insurances. Treatments are numerous making home units preferable.
